I'm thinking this has got to be a first in car club history. Has another car club jacket ever been worn by The Stanley Cup in its' storied history? This is absolutely real-NOT photoshop.
well that's pretty f-in cool. which player's turn with trophy was it? is he a car guy or just lucky? later jim
Just lucky. One of the guys in the clubs GF works at a joint the cup was going to be at, so our guys were able to meet it there with a plan. Next we gotta figure out how to hang out giant plaque from the rafters in Boston Garden.
Very cool. Congrats to Boston! I was soooo glad you beat Vancouver. It's coming back to Chicago next year.
That is cool! Is that the real cup, like the one the players haul around all summer, or the back-up cup they have for display? I got a pic with the back-up cup when the All-Star game was in St Paul.
There is a book on where the Cup has been and what people have done with it, my son has a copy of it. The best one I've seen was it being paraded around a race track in Canada on the rear deck lid of a DIRT modified. Bob

Talked to the guy in the white gloves (when the Cup was in Minnesota in 2006-Carolina's year)...the real cup is in the Hall of Fame/Toronto. The one that gets hoisted, and travels around is an exact replica right down to the names IN the cup. The real cup is too fragile to be subjected to so much travel and handling. Neat picture of the cup with the jacket however! g-willys
Congrats to Boston Bruins on the Stanley Cup Championship. Next year that cup belongs to a Canadian Team. Does look good in that jacket though.
Do you have the name of that book? It's cool to see all types of pics of the cup in different places.
That really is cool. Now you just need to get Tim Thomas to put a HAMB logo on his mask. Go Bruins!!!
I always liked the picture Phil took of the cup in two pieces at the bottom of Saint Patrick's pool in '93. Funny that didn't make the book
