    is there different pcv valve flow rates for diff. motors? sorry pos. crankcase ventalation

  2. PVC is achronym for polyvinyl chrolride. I believe you mean PCV or Positive crankcase ventilation. Yes, they have different orifice sizes. They are sized for specific engine applications, hope that helps. TR

    Just look for pcv for a motor with similar c.i. size.

    Long time ago I got to thinking about them so I gathered some up and cut them apart. I found different springs and different thickness caps under the spring. This leads me to believe that there are a BUNCH of factors involved with choosing a PCV valve. Is it angled or stright up and down? What is the engine vacuum? Don't know ANY of the answers but factory is good.
