Keep plugging away, Kevin. Takes cahones to put it out there on the HAMB for all to see. I admire your humility and honesty. A weekend hacker myself, 4 years into a '51 Styleline frame-off-not-100%-HAMB-worthy-street-rod-mild-custom. What the hell, there's plenty of room here. Keep cutting, welding, and posting. :)

I'm digging it. Don't worry about what other say or think. Build the car the way you want to. Sometimes people forget we should help and not put down. If there is something unsafe I can see people letting you know but difference in taste should be left alone. If everything was the same it would be boring in the hot rod world.

lookin good man, I love the tradition and the "old school" but there has been alot of new development in the past 50 years I say take advantage of it. But hell, what do I know.

ran into a snag I think, I stuck a driveline and slip yoke out of an 1990 astro van into it and the yoke wont slide all the way in. I put it in as far as it would go and pulled it out about a half inch to mount it to the rearend. but look how much is hanging out should I worry about it?

have not updated for a little while so I thought id give one.
David came by last night and we got it to come alive. with it gushing trans fluid all over it didnt run long but it (in my eyes) is running. also got all the shift linkage put together and the gas tank and air tanks in. should still be able to get it to lonestar if all goes well.
