I just picked up a '29 roadster body (very rough and in pieces) with a original '32 frame. I wan't to build a traditional late 40's era car. I know, so does everyone. Please post your pics and advice. Thanks in advance.
Not a 28-29, but a 30-31 on 32 rails. I made the rails fit the car so it sits like a 32, slightly overlapping the frame rails. Bought the custom made rear sub rails from Riley Automotive in Colorado (hamb member) which made the job 100x easier.

Firerod, Can you post a picture which shows the brake pedal / master cylinder arrangement on your car? It appears that the master cylinder is on the passenger side facing forward. What is the linkage arrangement to allow that to be done? Thanks, FritzJr
This car has been on the road two months now and have around 3000 miles on it.... Chassis is very rigid and works ok , even with the heavy engine. Here is the frame , i box it and made the tube K-member to get it as rigid as possible.
A few photos of the 1"x2" tubing subrails I fabricated to mount my '28/'29 Roadster on a modified '32 chassis: We also pie cut the bottom of the cowl to eliminate the gap under the doors Malcolm
fucking rad! id love mine to turn out like this...please post more pics or link me up to another thread with more pics of your car.
Thanks for the great pictures. Some very nice cars out there. Anyone have more info. or pics. of this car?
