51 Mercury Seat Widths?

Hello everyone,
Can you enlighten me on the front and rear seat widths you have used in your 49, 50 or 51 Mercury Sled style? I am looking at a split bench up front. Thanks in advance! Michael V

 

Front: About 58" wide and about and inch from the door panels (measurements taken from the cushions not frame)

Rear: About 63" including arm rests.

 

I didn't use a split bench in the one I had but I did have a 65 Coupe Deville seat in it for a long time that fit perfect, looked proper and was damned comfortable.
Dad and then I had a 75 Olds 88 Coupe with a split bench that might work well in one too. Pull out head rests that you can get rid of easy enough. I never measured it against the Merc even though they were parked side by side for two years.
