I'm in. 62 Comet project that after all the problems (and excessive shop charges) this week I now consider the "Build from Hell".
May have pictures someday that I won't be ashamed to show to others.

Just love this 5.0 conversion. 64 was one of the best years for Comet, especially the convertible. Grandma had a choice between a 62 and 64, that's how I ended up with the 62. Always wished that I'd been old enough at the time to counsel her on the correct car to buy.

    Hello Everyone,
I recently found and purchased my 51' sled syle project. This group will bring many ideas and information and I look forward to it. On a side note, I attended and completed Gene Winfields Metal Fabricaiton Class last weekend-unbelieveable, we learned so much.

Here are a couple of pics. Unfortunately all my mercs are projects. a couple of them are at the top of the list to work on! the 51 coupe or the 49 baby linclon convertible will be first. also a 51 merc woodie, 40 coupe and 50 coupe. To busy working on other peoples rigs to make time for myself, blah, blah i know! one of these days I will start.

  27. I'm in! Those of you that are not familiar with this one may not think I qualify to be in the club because it barely resembles a Merc any more, but it really started out as a 49 Merc Convertible. Last month I became the new caretaker of 'The Mystery Merc'.
