packard ?

    With most round center horn buttons you would push down against spring pressure and turn counter clockwise. Of course be sure the battery is disconnected first.

    the ring should come off and the button with it. press, turn CC and it should pop off :)

    I'm not familiar with the Packard but if there are no screws on the back side to hold it then it will most likely be a push and twist.

    I do know that it can be a PITA sometimes. Usually there are 3 tabs spaced equally around the center that hold the ring on. Before it will rotate you must get all 3 tabs pushed down equally to allow the ring to turn. With only 2 of them pushed down it won't turn. Make sure you get it pushed in equally all the way around and then turn the ring.
