Is a 225/65/15 enough for the front?

...and even all those don't hold a candle to basic chrome reverse wheels.

Thought about some late model mach 1 wheels. I think they would look ok. It's a hard choice. So many options

I actually got some new bullet style center caps and polished the wheels up.
Here are a few more pictures from a show that was tonight and the size
    Front 15x7 215/70r15
    Back 15x8 235/75r15

Thanks. I am considering the pro stars in a 15x7. Just wondering how the offset will look on the front. Working on a small budget and can't even find steelies

Not exactly period correct but could not pass up the deal. 15x6 in the front and 8s in the rear. Rear tires are real wide but look way better than the pizza cutters it had.

Here I come - but I had to switch to 15" TTDs meanwhile as well to package the disc brakes

15x 8 in the front and 15x 10 in the back.

What would be close to a 275/60/15? I have 235/75/15 or 235/70s. The front has 205/65s which are too small I think.

    I looked @ www.tirerack.com and didn't find a 235/75/15 but a 235/70/15 is 27.8" in dia and sec.width is 9.3", the 275/60/15 is 28" in dia and 11" in sec.width

Heres my '63 with a set of Cragar S/S's that I picked up at a swap and the chrome was all peeling, so I sandblasted them and painted them to silver and black. Look alright. [IMG]
