Photos coming. '67 Fairlane, nice fastback body style, running 289 auto, rusty rockers and quarters for $600. Can anyone say 'Gasser'? Help me start thinking about this. Any '67 Fairlane gasser pics would be appreciated. Thanks
great find-a while back I had a '66 Fairlane GT with a mild warmed up 390, top loader 4 speed, hi gear rear-big block torque is fun-at 70 MPH would shift into 2ND gear and that car would launch really good-gasser or street car lots of class & fun
You're post has made me happy... just snagged an old I-beam axle for it and some wheels, old 10" Ansen's for the rear and some skinny 5 spoke american racings for the front. It's got an automatic in it... I own a ton of gear cars and my broken left knee complains too much. I am thinking about sticking a loose converter in it and leaving it auto tranny. Now... i need a tunnel ram, fenderwell headers and tips on the loudest gear drive i can find. (hee hee hee)
And this 67 is just taking up room in the barn,.... *caution* A word to the wise, they don't sell lower rear quarter patches,... but there are a number of companies that sell "Half Quarters" really reasonable,....STAY AWAY FROM THEM !, They are JUNK, I have first hand experience on this. The headlights were out on the 67' because I had to do some bump work on the fender,.. Oner more thing,... click on the link below. Ford Fairlane thread, anyone?
Very very nice.... thanks. Anyone got a straight axle under one? Actually, i am doing a cheesholed i beam, buggy sprung... but hey.. who's picky? right?
Help me here. Anyone got shots of a fairlane with a buggy sprung axle up front? I know it's a long shot, but thought i would hit it one more time.
You make 10 posts a day? Must not be alot to do in Iowa. Keep at it in a year you will have close to 3,800 posts!
I get on here and just look and poke and post and then get on with my day... sold four trailers since 10am and now I am bored. Plus.... this place is COOL!
