Ok, so my factory radiator finally gave out and has more leaks than ever. I'm on the hunt for a quality replacement. The two I have narrowed down to are Brassworks, and Walker. I know Walker has a very good reputation, but Brassworks is no slouch either. What have you run, which would you prefer, which would you recommend? I see you can go a pressure system with Brassworks, have any of you done this with a stock 'banger engine?? Thanks for the info guys, these damn things ain't cheap!!!
Thanks, I had a PRC rad in a 52 Plymouth awhile back and it cooled well. Is yours aluminum? I ask because I'd like to stay away from aluminum since you'll be able to plainly see this radiator. Thanks for the comments so far.
your link is broke zombie.. not that i need any, just cant say iv ever seen brass hose clamps before so was curious. cheers. err never mine.. i guess was not meant to be a link.. im a idiot.
Haha, well thanks! It was supposed to be a link and it isn't working... I'll have to look and see why!
pressurized system will work better and eliminate that ever so often puking up a bit of water, both radiators are solid choices and can be pressurized of course you can always have your factory radiator recored for less money than a new radiator and from an old timey stand point will look better
Had the same problem with mine a few years ago... found an old guy locally and had him put a new core in it. Works great, looks nice and saved a lot of money!
