  1. hello....

i am trying to figure out how to mount my gas tank in m3 31... i have a 32 chevy tank that i plan on mounting inside the sedan where the seat would go. i am not planing on having an one ride back there just a 2 seater, but if i can make it work that way i will. my ideas are to build some stands for it and strap down with some leather straps, but what are you guys doing with the similar setup???
    thanks tom

I know its common to build one behind the rear seat, but I caution you against it. If you're ever rear ended the fuel cell will likely split and cover you and your occupants (wife, children, grandkids) with raw fuel.

I used the stock cowl tank in my Model A. Not that it was much safer, but I felt a lot better about it.
