Just got my seats done. Came out very clean. The seats were done to match the door panels which were done up over 20 years ago.:D

This is not a streetrod/ratrod forum, so sad to hear you are going in that direction.........

There's some great looking cars in this thread! My first car was a 1954 Dodge Coronet with a 241 Hemi.
Currently, I'm working on a 1956 Chrysler Windsor with a 331 Poly. I've not decided which direction to take it yet.

Yeah, at least a street rod will involve craftsmanship, rat rod....not so much.

Rear bumper not original to the 46 is it, 46's had license plate mounted on trunk, part of the trunk handle? What is it rear bumper from? Did it have to be cut, or it just fits that good.

    Very Nice!
Is yours the same style that the 'girl' drives on the cable show Cash and Cari?
If you will be doing some heavy towing then the truck box is a good one to use, otherwise the A-833 might be a contender. Of course, with an adapter you could use the newer style NV3550 or such. I don't have any specifics on the adapter, just saw mention of it over at B-bodies only...or was it A-bodies only...damn, CRS...

I have a 39 Plymouth P-8 2 door sedan. In process of a frame off restoration. No pictures, but here is where we are at:
Frenched headlights; frenched tag; shaved door handles and trunk handle; hid trunk hinges; flush tail lights; removed all chrome.
Having car painted black. Restoration company just finished third coat of primer and block sanding.
Putting metal running boards on it with steps with "plymouth" enlaid on polished aluminum.
Already has updated rear end and front end. Had a 360 built - pushing 408 horses with 10.5:1 compression and good rough cam, as well as a three deuce intake from automation. Putting a tremec 5 speed in.
Interior will be black and white tuck and roll, as well as trunk.
Dash will be shiny black with white faced gauges, resto-radio "50's style", vintage air a/c with round vents.
Wheels will be smooth gennies - red -or- maroon with chrome center hubs and trim rings and 2 1/5 inch wide whites.
