Event Coverage goodguys desmoines iowa july 4th weekend ! whos all going ?

as i'm madly thrashing away on the roadster pickup hoping to debut it there just curious as to who else is planning on going ?

 

gonna be headed down next wed night to set up the camper !

 

I am headed over from Riverside Wednesday morning to set up camp.

This will be the first trip for my wife's 57 Caddy since the resto so I hope I have all the bolts tight.

I'll be down with my brother and my 37 GMC on Thursday. Staying at the campgrounds, not sure yet if tent or camper.
Any Des Moines locals know if there are any roads to avoid (under repair).

 

I will be there. I am working the gate Saturday morning. This year will be the first year that I will be camping there.

 

Camel toe kid will be there fri n sat. If my junk will hoid 2gether! Be camping somewhere if anyone else wants to terrorize the locals get ahold of me!

Should be in town thurs by noonish barring and road closing or car trouble. My wife and I will be in this.

 

I'm thinking about coming up, probably for just Saturday though, and just to shoot some photos and network (b.s.).

We will be there! We were vendors at the St Paul "Back to the 50's" and it was great. I heard 11,000+ cars & trucks. Wouldn't know where they could put anymore. Will also have a vendor booth at Des Moines. Stop by and say HI!.

 

I will be there Saturday with the truck.

 

I have been lured into being a vendor at Good Guys this year so I will hope people will stop by....We have to try to get the word out about the Cordova Drag event on Aug 6 and Vintage Torque Fest. So come on over and get some promo material to take back to your hometown.

You cant miss us - we have TV's running so stop by and see some cool video as well!

 

I'm trying to find someone who will be around home that weekend so that someone can let the dogs out or else I'm stuck here on puppy duty since the rest of the family is heading to Wisconsin or the local lakes. If I get to go it will be a bonzai trip, leave Salina at 4am and be back by last call kinda trip. Hope to see everyone!

I'll be there. Hoping for some great weather, drove back to Nebr on Sunday last year in some heavy rain, and if you've seen the Missouri River lately, you know we don't need that. I did get to find out where my car leaks, for free!!

If anyone is in need of rooms, I've got two. I made reservations at the Goodguys rate at Marriott in Ankeny for Fri and Sat night. Still driving the Merc. Not a lot has changed. I re-wired it with a Rebel harness, otherwise it's about the same.
