Wow. All this time I only thought Ford made cars in 1932. Wonders never cease.

  8. Hello way down under. Looks like the Aug 1960 issue of "How to Hop-Up Your Engine" pictured in post #54 here has some detailed information. The also pictured Sep 60 issue of "Custom Rodder" even gave it two pages. Congrats on your purchase, and a tip of the cap to you for keeping it as built.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank James from Sierra Classic Imports in Reno Nevada for his patience over a 2 month period while I had to get my approval to import the car into Australia also for the company that was chosen to ship the car,
The sale of this car went so smooth and I highly recommand any one in the US or Australia that wants a nice car and friendly service to go to Sierra Classics.

  23. I actually have pics of that car hung on the garage wall (from the ebay auction) as mine will someday looks simular to that one.
Cool that you got it and when mine is ready i might have to ask for a few pics now and then of what was done...

  24. There was a coupe just like that around here, Olds powered and all. Saw it at a cruise night about 15 years ago. Old hot rodder built it in the late 50's early 60s. I was about 16 at the time and this cruise night didn't necessarily frown on burnouts, so we talked the guy into doing one with his old hot rod. It was pretty friggin impressive!

hi PBRmeASAP i will be happy to send you some photos when ever your ready.

PBRmeASAP according to information i received on the chev, it was last registered in 1962 and placed into storage for 25 years at his place and then another 25 years at his grand mothers or visa versa. overall a very interesting story.

Finally the chev was delivered today to its new home,
A big thanks to James from Seirra Classics in Nevada, Michael from Expert Cargo in California and to Emma from AAW Global in Fremantle, also to Nick who went out of his way to tow the chev home.
