The steering is close.>> I believe it should be at a/the plane that, imaginary line from the steering knuckle to the pivot of the bone.(or fall somewhere close to it.) Same, with the length of the pitman arm.

She's a driver now! Took it around the block a few times yesterday and it feels good.

We have a few more little details and then it's off to get painted. I'm leaning towards a satin silver with the firewall black and maybe the belt line black as well. What do you guys think?

  8. Personally, I am not a fan of the slammed look but you have done some nice work.

Yeah it's not for everybody with how low it sits but for me the lower the better. The best part about it is I'm 6'5" and when your in the car it actually has a lot of room. That's what originaly scared me about this build.

Today the body is off to be painted and the rear end is coming out to be narrowed 3in on each side.

Looks great. Like the color combo also. What are the interior plans?

Thanks, I think the colors turned out pretty good.

Interior is going to be pretty simple for now we are going to make the seat a modified bench with tunnel in the middle plywood frame, foam, and maybe rolled and pleated black vynyl? leather?

The dash is finished i will try and snap a pic of that. I am going to do a wood kit on the roof with a simple black snap on top.

My goal is to get it licensed and on the road here in the next couple of weeks to be able to enjoy some of the summer and then when the winter comes tear into some permanant interior plans.

Thanks for all of the compliments guys. Here is a picture of the dash and the new seat we just put in the coupe. The dash is a 32 ford insert with the original Model A dash rail. We built the seat and my dad's buddy upholstered it for us, it turned out perfect. We wanted to keep it as low profile as possible.
