Hoping everything works out for him. Lost a good friend to a motorcycle wreck, would hate for anyone else to go through that.
i gotta believe deer are out of season. i always used a shotgun or rifle, to hell with a 2 wheeler! best wishes for a complete recovery.
**UPDATE** Steve was able to go home on 7/1. He is attending an outpatient rehab 2-3 days a week and is doing great. Lots of rehab to be had but true progress in the making!
WONDERFUL NEWS ... Please keep the updates coming. Prayers are still being sent. We all care a lot. We rode 2 up for 35 years.
Sacred Hot Rodz is having a special prayer service for him. We also passed the word along to some other good organizations to pray for speedy and easy recovery. I have seen some pretty crazy miracles in my time. So I'm looking for another one for him.
I just asked for more Celtic Blessings & Prayers .... Keep up the healing & write as soon as you can.
Glad to hear he is going to be ok! I've got a '34 grille and bent superbell axle hanging on my shop wall was as reminder of just how much damage a deer can do.
just shows that Hambers have the will to make prople who are in trouble get well . The lord will take care of us.
prayers, thoughts & well wishes to him & his family - hope he pulls through and is back in HAMB action soon...
I want to say THANK YOU to everyone that posted on this thread about me. This is really Steve a.k.a. good_ol_boy. I did get a bad head injury from that accident, but have recovered good. I kinda still am recovering. Physically I did great right away, but mentally I know I am not back to normal. Sorry if I respond to a thread and it's not proper... I try hard. The doctors said I'm lucky to already be able to even talk and walk again after that bad head injury. I was in a coma and didn't say a single word for 5 full weeks. Here's a pic of my head scar now- I've wanted to just give up and try nothing, but after seeing my 1932 Olds coupe hot rod project sitting in my dad's garage... it inspires me to keep trying and just wait longer. The HAMB really inspires me and keeps me very busy lately. I want to build that car so much, like I've wanted and tried to do for like the last 7 years. Hopefully I'll find someone near me that can help me build the '32 Ford frame for it, so I can truly start building this coupe. I wanted to build it by myself, but I don't think I can do it properly now. Anyways, THANK YOU all very very much for posting anything good that you have on this site! It has and really will still help me succeed. I learned what good and real hotrods are all about, thanks to the HAMB. If I didn't find this site years ago, I might've built a junky ratshit rod.
