Yeah...wild, my survivor cabriolet has the same set up! Yeah the steering is scary, looks like they used an erector set to build it. Looks like they filled in the window slots in the tops of the doors. Very cool find! Johnny

yeah straight up sketchy steering arm

part of the deal of my dad and I getting the car is not letting it go... We'd be crazy to do that anyway - it's just too cool of an opportunity

    yep... REAL close

not sure what we'll do with it yet... we've got some good idears though.

will do, sir... and yes, we're very fortunate

    <---

yeah that steering arm is some backyard mechanic work at its best (or worst)

    are you on crack?

I like your cabriolet A LOT. yep window openings are smoothed over.

    no sir

    good eye

unsure where all he ran it - i will find out for sure though. We'd love to find some old pictures of it.

Sooooooo Cooooool! Happy for you! Was the building built around the car? If not out the way it went in. Still if not, sawzall and skates (wheel dollies) exit stage left and put it back the way it was. If I was a few thousand miles closer - I'd come give you a hand.

that car looks alot like my coupe. mine came from a barn in conn. complete with chicken feather. i had to give it a double take. its even got the axle mounted behind the spring. have fun with it i got mine nearly sea worthy and driven about 600 miles. just fixing it to be safer and reliable. that thing looks sweet.

    Cool find.

Strange that they moved the rear end forward? ...and I see they filled in the top of the rear quarters to make it more like a roadster.

Hope to see some build pics someday.
