I would go with the Desotos... They follow the grill better in my opion. Either way looks good though. Nice ride!

your chevy blows. i went to check your galleries but couldnt see pics of the rear "swept" floors, any chance you have some close ups? they look neat, and i could use new ideas.

Daily driver. Haven't done much body work, busy workin' on a '32. Had 235 rebuilt, Fenton setup, two Roch, cherry bombs and three on the tree.

In previous repairs, they welded patch panels over the existing quarter panel and stick welded it. The quarters were all hammered and warped to shit.

do you have any build pics of the skirts themselves?

you should do a tech thread, those are hands down the raddest skirts I have seen on a 53/54:)

Man o man how I regret not being able to jump on that car sooner. I love it. Do you have any updates to post from the new owner?

The only pics I have of the skirt construction are on my phone and I cant download them. I will take some pics of the skirts front and back and you can see how they are built.
And.....Thank You for the compliment! Its hard to do anything different on this body style without it looking bad, This is something I've wanted to do for some time and this particular car presented the opportunity

Looks like a hella good start there Kustom Kid 53!

and Old Gold I agree, I think 53/54's look damn good when the mods are right but it is REAL easy to screw them up.

I find these cars are real sensitive to everything looking organic, it almost has to look factory or it sticks out like a terd in a punchbowl (no offense terd:) )
