Not early hemi......this manifold forms the valley cover..........All the early hemis Chry/dodge/desoto) had sheet metal vally covers and the manifold arched above them. Maybe later mopar ????

Almost looks like a manifold that would go on an engine that normally takes a valley pan with the arched intake.. but not with this setup.

I first thought Studebaker, but don't think that's right.

I just googled the 182004 casting number
shown in your pics. In less then 30 seconds
about 10 pages of posts with the same
    definitive answer came up - it's for a 318
Poly from a '57 Plymouth Fury.

Your 1957 Poly 318 dual quad intake will fit any 1956-1966 277, 301, 303, 313, 318, or 326 Poly. It was originally used with WCFB carbs as the last person posted but will accept the modern AFB style Edelbrock carbs (two 500cfm Eddys work fine) with a short spacer adapter to allow the moderns carb's throttle blades to clear the smaller throttle bores in the manifold.
We made 412HP and 438ft.lbs. of torque with a '57 Plymouth dual quad manifold just like this on our last Poly Stroker build.

  17. How much are you going to sell it for. That intake will fit my engine.

Last Poly 2X4 intake I asked "how much" for was at the Turlock Swap meet.
Guy was real busy, he just shot me a glance, said: "Plenty, and that's only an estimate!"

    Hotskins,

I have a contact in El Paso with a beautiful dual quad Poly intake that has been tanked/cleaned and machined to accept the AFB carbs without adapters.

Not sure of the etiquette, whether I can/should post his e-mail here, so just message me and I will send it to you.

  20. Those intakes generally go for around $350.00-$450.00. For some reason the single 4 barrel ones are more popular. I look for the bolt bosses at the left front as a sign of poly intake.Last 2 I sold were marine units and sold for that much....
