Hey guys, it's been a while since I've been on but I just sold my falcon and picked up a 54 customline. My question is where can I pick up some lowering blocks? Are these leaf springs the 2" or 2 1/2"? Any help would be great. My car won't be here for a couple days so I can't just go out and measure. Thanks in advance

They are 2 1/2" for the hoops, just did mine with 3" blocks, 12" hoops will work with them and I can change the tire easy....Roach.

    53 customline.

yeah 3 inch blocks... not sure about the springs... she purchased it already lowered... but if somebody sat in the back seat..it would rub the drive shaft...did a little notch under the seat..problem solved :)

Badluck that would be nice but I'm
Looking for as low as I can get it without having issues while I drive. Did you have to raise the whole trans and driveshaft tunnel or just the back 1/4th?

Yea, that's SlmLrd's car, bagged with a bridge in the back and a Mustang II front end I believe. I think he has since sold it, but his is one of my favs.

Here's a couple pics of his rear set-up, hope he won't mind.

i just did a small 12" section under the back seat... would hit when people sat in the back... thats all youll need to do if you dont plan on doing bags... a little notch and you'll be fine :)

Hey guys just wanted to share a couple photos. I just installed the 4" blocks on the rear today. My car is sitting on the bump stops being this low. Is everyone notching the trans tunnel and removing the bump stops to gain some travel?
