Hi My name is Anna and I am new to the H.A.M.B. I decided to get on here because my husband is always on here and I have started doing his upholstery in his car. I thought I might find some cool ideas on here. I have a 63 Volksrod which I have won a 1st place trophy on :) ( which you guys probably don’t care about on here :p) and my husband has a 53 Chevy 210. The last couple weeks I have been redoing his door panels from last year and working on recovering his seats. I am having a lot of fun doing the upholstery and can’t wait to get it all finished.

Thanks! It might be the cleanest work and definitely better then some, but I have had my share of scratches and cuts from rusty old metal. Tearing apart those old seats is pretty gross ( but maybe that’s me just being a girlie girl ).

Yup. Her 63 was featured in the Volksrods.com calendar last year. November pic. Appeared in VW Trends and Hot VWs rags.

  25. This is not a Volks forum - it is Traditional Rods and Customs, although a few slip in here and there. They the SAMBA for volks stuff.
