I thought I looked at most of the cars in all these photos,at the roundup, but you showed us a whole other show,& found the best angle on all of them.I feel like my eyes cheated me for not noticing the things your pictures see.Great stuff.

Dan I came across your Orval Proctor gallery last year and I was blown away!
I'm new to the HAMB and it's great finding you here.

Gorgeous photography! I hope to hit the LSR next year.

Thanks ken, fiveohnick2932 and shane85. Shane - first off - that is one of my favorite quotes of all time - I use it myself ever since reading Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas in 1977 or so. Met Hunter when he came and spoke to us at Univ of Colorado a few years later.

As far as HDR goes - some are and some aren't - to find out, please go to my regular web site http://www.pbase.com/dlgphoto/lonestar2011&page=all and if you click on each picture after it displays - look at the exposure info under each.

Thanks Todd, Ian and Rob! - You are making me blush again!! I would love to have a crack at Ian's car ( or any of the others in the picture above or elsewhere in this thread) and get what I consider some really first class images of it.

Here is another one that came out well a bunch of different ways. Here is a kind of old fashioned, cross processed looking version of JD's 41 Ford.
