1932 steering box lower bearing race installation

    I am about to install a new lower race into a 32 steering box and its a very very tight fit. Is this a heat the box freeze the bearing job?

    Might put the bearing race in the freezer, use a driver made for a race and it should go in okay.

    Before going to work, check the size of the new part against the old one to be sure you have the right one. The above suggestions are good but if someone sold you the wrong part you might split the box...
