Just got back from Limeworks open house. Steve and the gang put on a nice day for everyone. The lunch was great. The highlight for me was seeing the Allard in all its restored glory. Saw a bunch of old friends and met some new ones. Heres a few pics of todays fun.

If I do my car will never be on the road and you'll give me crap about that too. :D

Going to LARS on Saturday for a bit... Then back to the shop. That's the only break I get for now.

I want to go to LARS DAMN IT!!! If for nothing else then to see that Sasquatch CHRIS in usual form buying all those cool parts he mysteriously finds. I also wouldn't mind seeing Scootie Tang and giving him a hand.

Great pics!!! that Allard is a significant car as in historically restored? I see that the valve covers are new ones.

This was my first time visiting Limeworks, not just for their open house but at all. I had a great time and as long as they continue to do it, I'll be there! I had some nice conversations with some of the other attendee's and enjoyed talking to Steve for a bit too.

Thanks, Randy, for putting up some nice pictures - including one of my pile to prove I was there!

And thanks to Steve and the rest of the Limeworks crew for a really enjoyable time! I really was digging on your shop and that super dark green Deuce sedan project, that thing is BITCHIN!

That car belongs to a local SoCal guy named Mike Degles. He's ran it on our PRC Reliability Run several times. If ever there was a bad-ass, period correct A-V8, it's this car. According to him it was sporting a recently installed a gennie Halibrand Culver City quickchange in place of the stock banjo rear that had been in there for years.
