Damn I'd sure like to make it. I wish the rain Gods would disappear.

 

Sorry to say that no one else could do the trip. My buddiy Dan will be riding with me and Marty is coming down from Chitown.

Getting hyped up to get on the road, can't wait to see ya!

 

Should be there also, gotta put the Transmission back in my Truck, hope i can get the Bugs worked out!

 

If I didn't have a truck show in TN next weekend [need to save my moneys] I would totally drive up there. Just to meet Denise, the coolest chick I know and so I could see Big Olds in person. I love that track and the campground area up there, beautiful place for some cars and hanging out. Wish I could make it, but its quiet a ride from Atlanta.

 

Driving up from Memphis on Thursday.Will be there Friday and Sat. We normally park up on the hill to be in the breeze but we will saunter down to see you for the meet and great. Any one who wants to visit us up on the hill will be welcome to join us for a cold beverage! Look for the blue/black cabriolet.

 

Found a room. Now if it's dry enough I'm going to make it down Thursday. Friday at the latest. M&G, noon, down by the river. Look for the old bald fat guy.

Anyone know what night the Cacklefest is? Still on Saturday night?

 

9 PM Saturday according to the schedule on the NHRA museum website.

 

So I guess that will be the grand finale since there is no racing on Sunday this year. Thanks for the info.

Just ck'd Wbko Channel 13 in B/G weather says clear on Thurs, 40% chance of scattered showers on Fri and 30% Scattered showers on Sat. Temps mid-high 60s nighttime, high 80's daytime.. Everyone have a safe trip!!
