anyone go to the show today at cecil county ? was a gasser show. $15 for general admission kept me away, just wonder what the turn out was like
I didn't go, but I got a call from a friend of mine that the F100 XL drag truck that was unearthed in Delaware a few years back was out there. Sorry I missed that one...it was an F100 unibody truck with a 427 and a Galaxie trim package. Totally bitchin'. Here are pics of an old article about the truck as well as what the truck looked like when the current owner finally opened up the garage and light some sunlight hit it for the first time in decades. I'll post some pictures from Cecil today once my buddy sends them over.
I was there. Despite the forcast, the weather was fine, as was the turnout. Here's a few pics. I'll try to post more later.
Didn't say it was lost...but it was my understanding that it was kept under wraps in the guys garage for years until a few years back...or, as some may say, "unearthed"
The Cecil county races were great felt like the mid 60's lots of good old race cars, front engine rails, gassers, and old hot rods going at it. No Rain! lots of clouds and a little sun. Good times, and a good car show. Hats off to John Presley who got it together.
You let $15 keep you away from a GREAT show? You have to be the CHEAPEST mf on here. Do you expect them to pay you to go there? Clown.
It was a good show john was a good guy the Time Bomb Vega F/C was mine and at its first show since getting done and we had a blast and cant wait to do it again. Rocky Roxlau
