I'm local to Beech Bend. The weather is looking great. We have been roasting hot here for the last two weeks.

 

Leaving Wed morning to get to the kick off party at the host hotel. Can't wait!!!

First time coming how many cars are usually in the show area? And how is the swap meet?

 

i will be there with my 59 APACHE look me up if ya want. be there fri and sat looks like weather gonna be nice and in the 80's

 

usually been around 1000-1200 in show area,pretty good swapmeet also. and some killer nostalgia racing

 

I`ll be alone this trip my buddy crashed his street bike thanks to a lady stopping in front of him and broke his neck. He has a operation to deal with in the morn. He`s my best friend and the god father to my son, please keep him in you thoughts and prayers.

 

Might be some rooms available in Morgantown, about 25 miles NW on the Natcher. Motel 6.
I'm pretty hopeful for the weather this year! The humidity has been down to around 50% today, low 80's, just awesome! Now if it'll just stay that way for a few more days!

check motel 6 there were still rooms there couple nights ago. its right on main drag in bowling green we stay there every year.

 

seems to be more crowded this year. wonder if something else is in town? oh well' see ya'll thursday.(well really weds)

 

If anyone in the Lexington KY area wants to caravan with us we will be leaving around 4:30 tomorrow evening. Hope we get there in time for the kick-off party.

 

Damn it won't be able to make it this year! I could go to the BTT 50's for the first time in like 7 years instead but it looks like that is going to be quite wet...

 

I'm gonna be there saturday if I can drag the old lady out of bed.

i just did the lettering on the hundley & boggs top fuel cackle fest dragster from greenville, s.c. its a pale yellow chute pack car with simple black lettering. me and my buddy bill will be at the econolodge fri. and sat.

 

"Mousie" along with "Wild Willie" are cruising along in the cowboys truck just outside Memphis. Big Mike Boyd will be flying in to put on a show for all you lucky hoodlums. with New t-shirts for this event .

 

it's freezing here!!! i got here this morning and it was 60 degrees!!! it's nice and i'm glad i went ahead and brought some blankets. it rained about 10 am to 12 then cleared up. already a pretty big group set up at the tack. i got my usual spot about 3/4 of the way down right on the fence. just had some brats for supper and just sittin here enjoying the sunset and listening to randon start ups.

 

I'll be sitting this year out, just lost my best friend to cancer. HRR was his last show that we did together last year, he fought it for a year and came up short. Maybe I'll feel better about coming next year. Everybody have a good time and be safe.

 

well...the boys brought a couple of old bikes they had and then had a blowout. i told them we would go into town in the morning and get a tire....well that wasn't good enough. a few minutes later here's what they did.
