   I have a 1961 ford P350 that I am putting a v8 in 351W How close should I put the cooling fan to the radiator right now its @3 inches.. should I go closer ..Thanks (I'm going to use the good 61 radiator set up..)

   If you use a proper shroud, (and you should) it doesn't matter how close you are. The fan blade should be halfway into the shroud.
