I love chrome too planning on doing my axle and backing plates in my 36

  2. Virtually everything and anything that would fit in a chrome tank is plated on our roadster, sans the block, heads and frame.
I dont think there is any stopping sometimes. The only rule I have is to not let this addiction pass over to any of the other rides. (it can get quite expensive...)

That is exactly what is wrong with todays youth, LACK OF CHROME........ Todays cars lack the chrome plating that those of us grew up with in the 50's and 60's.

Well, my current build (pics soon I hope) is a street driver, and I hope for lots of chrome. When I was drag racing, we always said, "If it don't go, chrome it". Well, this thing AIN'T gonna be a racer, so I guess I am gonna HAVE to chrome it up.

Just remember Terd, Chrome is good.

Back in the 60s when hot rodders were chroming everything, them Godless Commies in Russia had Yugos and Ladas and no chrome and their women were ugly (just watch an old J Bond movie for proof)

Remember, lots of chrome attracts beautiful women.

I found the cure, got tired of trying to keep chrome nice and have a driver, Powder Coating, still an addiction but much cheaper and easier to maintain

  10. I've even started a pile to chromed too, should i rethink this idea? I don't know, its sure looks good.

You've definitely got chrome issues, thankfully it isn't nearly as fatal as an addition to fiberglass bodywork and colorful lights.

Enjoy in moderation and live a long and shiny life.

Yeah. First its just rechroming your horn ring. Eventually you're on the track in some hot pants and fishnets. Then you got this guy always on you about his money...

You really should chrome your frame to help reflect the engine color, its a color accent thing. Don't want to be out of fashion ya know. While you're at it, chrome the gas tank to reflect the brass fittings.

Hahahaha! That commercial was funny!! But in my case, sadly its true...

This is my dad's truck. Chrome door panels and window trim.

I would've chromed the column, lol. And I will on mine. I may do the door panels but I'll skip the upper window trim. It doesn't flow.
