    hi there,
I'm back from some absence after I sold my 53 Buick - which turned into a 62 bulletbird now.

the car is in very nice condition, but needs some "changes". First question is, which which offset/backspace will fit? I think about running the bird on 14" torq thrust II wheels.

I'd be pretty glad to get some info!

  5. Dunno about 14", my car came with 17s on it. I don't know which of the two backspacing options these wheels are, but they are the 17x8s. Joe Johnson gave you the best link too. Squarebirds are an exellent group as well, but you can't beat the bulletbird specific knowledge on VTCI.

thanks for all the replies, I found some info but still am confused about the offset - maybe I'm just not able to get that matter into my head the right way. The offsets mentioned differ from 0 to 4.5. I found a helpful description how to measure offset/backspacing... maybe I get an idea now: http://www.americanwheel.de/wie_messe_ich_offset_und_backspace.pdf
