Yep, he doesn't have any plans to change it. Pretty neat.

Went for a rip in it last week - scary fast. SO fun. Really makes me want one..

Please tell him that he and his car have some huge fans in Maine.

Found a few more old pics. Mini Willys with the laundry out, same car with altered wagon and my old coupe in the garage. Barry

Will do. I'm going over to the shop tonight.

He actually has 3 gasser willys. That one, the black one I posted a couple pages back doing the burnout, and another time capsule type. You can see it peeking out in the right side beyond my coupe:

Yes Barry, I do remember those. What was that 10 years ago?

I believe it was. Hey I was at Sears Point today, and was looking at a bunch of Mini's sitting on the grid. The decklid latch is the closest I've seen to the stock Willys latch, the handle is curved but the detail line doesn't wrap around the edges. I asked the owner of Mini Mania and he said he has a bunch in stock, he couldn't remember the exact price but its around $50. If I remember to take my camera tomorrow I'll try to get a picture of it

Here are a couple pics of the decklid handle from a Mini, they should work in a pinch.
