Event Coverage ***My Pics from WCK Santa Maria 2011***

This year proved once again that West Coast Kustoms put on the best custom show on the planet. The cars were top notch....lots of crazy paint!

Our drive down from Sacramento was pretty smooth, other than running out of gas at the offramp to the Chevron. No matter...we carry gas cans and skateboards...I'm sure the people who saw me skating down I-5 got a good laugh.

Anyways...as usual, I had a blast, hung out with the best people and drank way too much. Can't wait 'til next year!

I appreciate you posting this one. I love this little truck damn it and I know it's gotta be cool because it's the only Hot Rod you supplied a pic of.

 

Man ! either I was so out of it last weekend or I missed alot of cars, cause I don't remember half of the ones you go pics of!! You were definetly right......there was alot of nice stuff there this year. I think its getting better every year. Keep the pics coming, I want to see what else I apparently missed.

Damn....my website is already really slow. The HAMB is so crowded now, these threads that pull multiple images all at once overwhelm even the biggest web servers. If you're having trouble getting the photos to load, check back when the traffic may have subsided.

We missed you this year! You would have been happy on the drive down....we hauled ass, very few stops.

I wish I had that pic! My car isn't as far along as I'd planned, so I wasn't going to post a pic. Here's one anyway...

And because I love '35's that green one is tugging at my heart once again. Probably as nice of a '35 5w as you're going to get and I want it!

Cool, thanks for the pic of my wagon Rusk. Its the only pic I've seen in all the coverage. That ARTDCO Buick is jawdropping! If someone told me I could take any car home I think that would be the one. The owner is gonna have a hard time cleaning all my drool off of it. Great pics. Cream of the crop at WCK.

Great shots and great coverage Bryan. Would've loved to check it out in person, but those photo's are doing a good job of filling in. Did the Mystic Unicorn (Valencia Coupe) show up this year?

Thanks for sharing some of the nice rides with us.

Is it just me being clueless as usual, or is the level of paint being kicked up a few notches the last couple of years on cars overall, not just this show but in general? Some seriously high quality and artistic paint jobs here. Regardless, glad to see more nice finish work over the patina. Some beautiful stuff for sure.
