I saw these in a junk store today, The swan looks caddy to me but I have no idea what the bird head is from.

    Somebody here should know

  2. That "BIRD" head looks more like a Pterodactyl and would be bitchin on any hot rod!

I'd look for any names or whatever on that piece. Then google if you find a name.

Also, I think someone on here posted once about a website for radiator mascot identification. Maybe google that

  5. They both look aftermarket to me, especially the "bird head". The swan hasn't got enough detail to be from a high quality car like a Cad.

The "swan", on the right in photgraph, looks like late 1940's Packard ornament or an aftermarket copy.

The "swan" is a cheapo copy of a Packard Cormorant.

well, I concur with the cheap Packard knockoff suggestion. That pterodactyl is quite obviously an aftermarket piece - nobody on this side of the pond ever had an ornament like that to my knowledge.

Sure ain't a 52 Nash Ambassdor...they had naked ladies on 'em...
