Oh man. Everyone has said it already but I want one for my 6 year old.
If my dad and me built that I know when I turned 15 or so I would he lookin for an old Harley 1100 or something to drop in there. He will be a hot rodded for life.

UNBELIEVABLE... I can't say enough about the workmanship of this lil' hot rod and how lucky your son is. Kudos to you for the build and I'm sure that is one thing he'll never forget. I'm sure you could make some $$$ off of reproducing those bodies, but for it to be the only one out there, simply awesome!!!

As for deaths doorstep, yes i followed the build, & up to the point when Dave started bolting on all the shiny shit it was about as good as an A gets ! and though the build turned out a bit that way as the need for things like the rear gravity feed fuel tank (it had to look right) and the rails ect were always going to be full of holes though the rear rails would have been tube but for the cost ! ( there must be around 500 plus holes throughout it !!)
I look at it like this ... if you think you just thought of it, then you can bet someone else has too !! though i have never seen round tube with drilled & filled holes befor, that came about because... if you cant hide something, make a feature of it !
Im glad so many of you like it ! i will at some point make a few bodies but it was only done because i had to ! i have thought of doing a real v8 race car at some point but we will see !!!

Man, aside from the gasser one that was built on here a few years ago this is the koolest thing ive ever seen...I'm totally blown away by the attention to detail esp the porportions...I would literally sell my car so my son could have one of these....I'm def interested in a body so please keep us posted & thanks for sharing!!
