    Good looking show everyone!
I have a couple of things to share this week. First off I got a chance to meet with Jody at Torque fest last month and got chatting about his car. He wanted to highlight his car but not give it the obligatory "named after a song - '50's theme ride" Instead, he chose to go the opposite route and got to thinking about the old west Fist full of dollars theme of Clint Eastwood who played a character with no name, spawning the inspiration for his hot rod with no name:
Wanting to finish up the build this turned into a t-shirt design:

Secondly, and long overdue on my part, I wanted to show off my new 6 poster series the [IMG]:
It's a six poster set (100 pieces total) that come together silkscreened in two colors on French paper (oooh-la-la) based off of illustrations I've done. I wanted to play with a post WW2 theme of the transition of war minded efforts to hot rodding. Detroit was dubbed the Arsenal of Democracy; a slogan coined by Franklin D. Roosevelt during the war effort, so I did a play on that being from the D and designing with american automobiles. These posters are all 12" x 12", numbered and signed and come in a collectors box (also numbered). I put a lot of effort into this set and I think the finished product really shines!

Anyway, I also took some time to switch over my old online shop, which is now located here: http://carnart.bigcartel.com/ it has a few new products up for sale too.

    Have a good weekend all!

    Hey guys
I've been busy with non car related stuff lately including putting together a new website.
Thought I would share some pencils from some of my paintings. These are part of my process of creating a painting.
    Hope you dig them.

So many cool things again - blows my mind the incredible and diverse talent here. Week 3 for me. I worked on a couple of sketches yesterday. One was done by me and the other was drawn by me and colored by my 2yr old :) Can you tell which is which? BTW NCjamey it looks like I tried to draw the cool car in your Avatar :D
