Event Coverage Sins of Steel June 4th

Davisburg 4H fairgrounds. Hot rods, pin-ups, mini bike racing, awesome trophies, friends, family and HOT RODS! Hurry up. June 4th is almost here.

 

11 days and counting!!!!! Looks to be another great show. We have a new vendor this year!!!! All the way from Iowa we have Coolstuff coming in as a vender so bring your wallets and buy up some Vintage Torque goodies. I know some people are finishing up some projects for the show. I expect to see lots of insanity on the dirt oval minibike death race. Some new band's this year and DJ Del will be spinning through out the day. Bring your cash for what has grown into a great swap meet and dont forget about the Model Car Swapmeet ( lots of great vintage kits last year ). Plenty of Stripers to pull some lines on your vehicle of choice or the helmet you will need for the minibike race!!!. Miss Sins of Steel Pin up contest vaaa vaaa vaaaa voooomm!!!! Vendors galore, Man I can't wait - We have been blessed with good weather the last couple of years and lets hope the Big guy is on our side again for 2011 - sunny and 80 would be great, but I wont be sad to see 77 and partly cloudy ha-ha. Lets see if we can top the 400 plus cars from last year!!! and wait till you see what is in store for 2012!!!!!

 

I am looking forward to it! Got the coupe apart for some much needed maintenance, and then I'll be ready.

 

I'm sure a bunch of us Canadian lads will attend...as long as its not poring again!!

Been outta state for 2 weeks...put the kabash on getting the cdan completed & running. Perhaps I'll strap to Pete's shoebox that's strapped to???

 

Looking forward to seeing some old friends and in general having a good time.The Safari now has a reverse gear so I can actually back it into a parking spot.Will likely be near the Singlefinger setup.
Here is a work in progress shot of my trophy for the best use of pinstriping.Just need to do the lettering.Haven't had much time lately but the wolves have stopped scratching at the back door for now.

Kirk I could give up an evening to help. I am good at drinking your beer and watchen you work. Bringing the 49 chrysler, mini bikes and some barley pops. No swap stuff for me this year, to many things to drive.

 

I will be there, new shoes on the truck this year, just changing it up a bit. I have to scoot out a little early this year, or I will get the beat down from my niece who is graduating that night. See you all there.

Look for the usual morning meet up for the northern crew, same place as usual, just note that the station is closed for re-modeling, so make gas and snack plans before hand.

 

I'm going. the old rustbucket 36 should have it's new pipes and radiator by then!

The northerners usually meet at the BP gas station at Dixie and Holly rd. Right across from the state police post. 7:30 seems right. It's 2 hrs from flint to oscoda and another 30-40 min to the gas station.

 

If someone would push me in, I'd take the roadster......looks like next year.



I will be on foot though for the swapmeet.

 

You want to bring it in bring it!!!!!!!!!!!! looks killer just has to be pushed through the gats and we can probably get ya a spot close by

 

Missed Billetproof cause of a funeral so I'm double planning on Sins.

If you mean the bp at grange hall rd. and dixie it has been closed since Chrismas I was camping there this weekend and it was empty

 

That is a Bad Ass name for a car show. If I could take the time off from work I love to go just because of the name and get a T-shirt

My bad. Grange Hall rd is correct. We'll still meet there. Big enough for several cars. And ya never know who may get escorted in....haha!
