Nicely put John. And not just words in your case. I'm loving the description of your '32 build. I'm hoping (as are you I'm sure) that it comes together ahead of schedule. Jeb's work is outstanding. I'm really liking that cool Triumph build. Pipes, forks, handlebars, big tank, seat, it all works.

  10. Wow, what an incredible transformation! Jeb is definately a craftsman, and obviously a perfectionist to boot.

I really like the Nailhead/5-speed idea. That coupe will definately be a blast to drive. I hope to see it at the Acme booth in the future!

I'd give my left nugget for a steel '32 Coupe or Sedan.....

Mine was chopped twice; once before I got it and again by Jeb. Norwell and I were just talking about the chop on my car yesterday and he asked how chopped it is.

I need someone to give me stock window heights on a 5 window then I can know also.

    Anyone?

I believe the door opening is 13 inches give or take.

The windshield is 10 1/4" glass at the center and about 12 3/8" to the outside of frame. I measured this with my head under the car cover. Should be correct though.

    Thanks.

That bike is the bee's knees! The convertible is plain purdy just as is his 5 window.

Thanks for all the kind words, John and I are great friends and have a great working relationship. I am a little humbled by this thread, at a loss for words.

I found some pics of some of the problem areas of the coupe when i got it. Enjoy:)

    Jeb,
Thanks for posting these. I couldn't find some of the photos of the car I took after it was stripped. I have been staring at the latest shots and I really love the profile on the chop.

  20. That prior work was some sweet work. What they call old school. Looks just a little better now. Ain't nothing but a thang.

    My measurements were:
    W/S.......10 1/4"
    Side.......13"
    1/4........13"
    Rear.......9"

    My new measurements are:
    W/S.......6 1/16"
    Side.......8 1/2"
    1/4........8 1/2"
    Rear.......4 1/2"

    Equals....4 1/2" chop

That is going to rule! Can't wait to see the result...

You really do have all the cool stuff! (shaking head)

  23. Jeb is the man. He's a great craftsman, but above all else, he is so knowledgeable when it comes to cars from all eras. As great as he is at the building itself, it is his ability to design and theme a car correctly that makes him one of the best in my book. Good builder, good guy, and I have to say I am thankful to have learned tons from him.

  24. Jeb's Coupe is amazing! I'm sure yours will, once again, set us back on our heels,John! That body looks great now...

Wonder way I didn't see this thread earlier, I'll be following it now. Is the Vicky in Jeb's avitar the one that was built out of a Tudor with a totally fabed rear section? That was another work of art.

    I <3 Jeb.

You can tell his character by the need . . . no, the yearning, to do the very best work he can at all times, regardless of the situation.

BTW, I FUCKING HATE BRASS!!!!! I've threatened to invent a "Brass-B-Gone". Then once I've made my millions, I use the money to make sure brazing rod is outlawed and anyone who uses it inappropriately will be punished severely.

  27. No, the one in his avatar is actually a real 32 vicky built for someone else, but yes, Jeb did build the back half of a tudor to create a 32 vicky..and it is truly a work of art.
