Congratulations on a good score. The only problem is NOW you will have to resign as PRESIDENT of the Deuce club and run for President of the Model A bunch :D :D

Now when are you going to tell us what you're building next, Larry?

You've got the makings of a real nice AV8 there.. Hint, hint.

I have to admit I'm a deuce guy first, but when I saw that complete V8 60/tranny sitting next to that roadster I kinda went...hmmm...

Yes. Come over to the dark side.. :D

You could build an AV8 roadster then trade it for a deuce if the opportunity comes up. Or put out an ad offering the ingredients to an AV8 build for a good deuce and wait for days.. That turn into weeks.. And then months.. Years..

    You get the clue. :)

If you're implying that I screwed this guy out of his stuff, go back and re-read my post. He priced it, I paid his price.

He's 50 years old, his dad was 84. He's been around his dad's cars all his life and he owns an auto repair business. He knows what this stuff is worth. He just doesn't have the time to mess with it so he sold it all for one price to just get rid of it.

Oh yea, you REALLY need to go to the salt......Hmmm.......a project for this year. Bangers are alot less expensive to get into to than the "big money" cars......I was told that a long time ago......with a 'banger', you will be less likely to break rear-ends and the parts are alot cheaper than the 300mph cars.......Hmm......I can see you getting the salt bug after seeing the roadster that you were driving at the SK500.
