I've been following your build off and on, but haven't seen it lately. Finally saw it again today. Great job, keep it up, you are definitely on the down hill side. Will be subscribing so I won't miss anymore updates.

just a rattle can job, but getting it ready to take up north so i can get it finished. tightening down a few things and putting a few last things together. got some wires to run electrical, etc. it's getting there. hoping by the end of summer it'll be good to go, or sooner!

:) This is an inspiring build, showing the innovation and resourefullness using old components and modifing them.

  13. Those look like running board brackets. They are the same design as my I cut off my Whippet. Great use of old parts. I have been doing the same. Thats what I like about Hotrods compared to my Muscle cars. Hotrods, you can be so much more creative. Great job!!!

sorry to keep you all wondering where the hell i've been. i took on some classes in search of a new career, so i've been busy with that. since i last posted, we've brought my truck to a new home and it's really close. majority of the electrical is done and for my christmas gift, my amazing boyfriend got my car tuned up and engine running good for me :)

from the cab forward, everything is pretty much in tact and ready to go. we still need to adjust a few things in the rear, shorten the driveline...few odds and ends like that. i know i said it before, but hoping THIS summer it'll make it. once i'm off from school i'll post up some newer pictures.

Good to hear you didn't get knocked up,
    And the truck parted out!

You're on the easy part for some.
Its just that last couple hundred bucks is tough
When you're used to building for cheap!

  23. I wish that I could feel that feeling!!! I was soooooooo close to get the 1929 Whips on the road until the 1936 came about and sucked the life out of me!!! Now I am just busy working and working and more working. It's a great thing but I actually thought I'd have a couple days off to work on the cars until I got another job!!!! It looks like I am going to be burning the midnight oil till December!!!!! 2 jobs that have critical deadlines!!
Congrats on your first ride!! I am soooooooo happy for you!!!
