Mine is a 54 dodge pickup...drove it around as a retro rod kinda thing for a bit with twin carters, and twin mainifiolds...nice stuff from a place called phillips performance, but now im in the middle of a 360 swap, boxed frame, with a fatman IFS, should be alot more drivable

Love the 33 roadster..wish it were mine. Here is a pict of my 33 dodge that I started working on in 1971. It keeps changing with the times.

  15. I have a running/driving 1948 1/2-ton that I have not figured out what I'm going to do with it. Definitely needs to get low, and I'll probably keep the flathead six in it...

My wife inherited a 37 D-5. Decent original condition, was running/driving when parked. I don't know if I'll ever get to it though. Darned near impossible to get a good photo of it where it's stored.

Bring the car to a local spring shop. They should be able to rebuild the springs in it or make replacements. Atleast the old school ones can

Thanks! I love the DeSoto as is so that will stay like this at least a year :)

DeSoto tail lights are killer and look kustom from the factory (I think).

  24. just updated my build thread. here it is as well!

ok here we go. turned out i wired and plumbed the bags completely wrong. so i re did it. the bags are way to fast and i hate them when i get home from santa maria i will redo them. here are some pics from today!and i totally will own that the body work looks like shit. i have owned this car for five years i need to drive it!the little guy is my new helper he is six and just decided a week a go he loves helping me maybe it will stick. and if it does watch out. at six years old he is way more detail oriented than i am at 35!

  26. No need to re-do the whole system. Just put a small valve between the electric valves and the bags that you can open or close to vary the speed of the up/down motion. I have used gate valve and currently have a simple one from a pnuematic impact wrench with a 1,2,3,4 dial on it.

Just dragged this one home and will find out if it runs in the next week or two. Original 6 and fluid drive. I also found a Super Red Ram Hemi, 270 with a 4bbl and Automatic. Maybe this will be the one to put it in.
