Try Akram Electric in Montclair, Aziz knows quite a bit about early stuff, always helped me out many of times.
like ricktard said diy man. i have wired 4 cars and it sure doesnt take a genius especially with a kit. go for it
What kind is it? DIY and ask here if you have any problems. I do wiring for streetrods and its really simple now a days with the new kits
Just my opinion, buy a kit with the fuse block already wired in, I think it saves time and a lot of cussing and mount the block where you can get at it. I have a friend that put it in the glove box, cool idea. The mag. "How to wire a hot rod" is good info. also, I think I bought mine from Speedway.
Yep, jump in and do it yourself. I did mine a couple of years ago. If I can do it, anyone can. I'm an electrical retard.
I'd come over if I had to sleep in the barn and you have a good-looking daughter Seriously, unless you have an undisclosed physical limitation, it's pretty straight forward using today's kits. And as far as I know, all the suppliers have a tech line that can get you over any little humps in a friendly and knowledgable manner. Heck, I completely rewired a 74 CJK without a kit, just using hot rod wiring diagrams found in various "how to" books. dj
sheesh....CJK ??? wtf? CJ5 - a Jeep...put an LT-1/M-21 in it...factory wiring was useless and complicated. dj
I just installed a Easywire kit and it really was very easy. I was putting it off for the longest time then I just did it. Id jump in and do it again in a heartbeat. Ive alway paid guys to do it and for me and now I ask myself why didnt I do this years ago? Its a kit? With instructions? even a Help line to call if ya get in a bind? What ever its worth... Its eaiser than you think! If ya want to drag it to San Diego I can have my regular wiring guru do it for ya but its lot cooler to say I Did It!
