Man that looks sweet. I love the 60 Cads. I'd love it even more if it was mine. (Ya another car on my wish list never hurts)
Nice Cad! Cool place to take photos too, I can't really think of many abandoned places around here, Which is a bummer... Jackson
thanks for the compliments guys the pic in the dash is there because the speedometer was whinning and bouncing so I pulled the cable. I plan on putting in a '59 impala dash next so I never replaced the cable, but atleast now I still enjoy checking the speed. it a pic of bettie page
My favorite year Caddy! I have to agree with the bodywork comment though. Growing up one of my earliest car memories is riding in the '60 my Grandma had as a "spare" car. It is still in my family with under 30,000 miles, but it is a 4 door. Love those cars, and I would love to have yours in my garage!
thanks again for all of the kind words guys, now to turn the crowd lol I have no plan on doing the body work or paint right now. I bought this car as a way of keeping me from rushing through my 2 1952 cadillacs. The floors and trunk are solid, not a single spot of rust. car has 70k on the clock and everything works (except the clock of course) a/c, heater, all lights and gauges etc... I am having the upholstry re-done, but didn't know what I was eventually going to do with this car so I am having the seats wrapped in brown cowhide. I intend to put a 59 impala dash in the car and the only paint this car will likely get from me is some rootbeer metalflake on the dash and roof. I love cruising this car, but it's stolen enough love from the other cars for now.
you have no idea how big that made me smile. I love that so many people see what I see in this car, and not just a rusted pile of sh!t. Daryl....I am absolutley in love with your apache and if anyone could talk me out of this coupe it'd be you.......Just not out of a '52
