We just took my mates 57 cheb with a blown 377 WOW hits the rev limiter right now.
But the car slides sideways during wheel spin it has a detroit locker 9inch and a 4 link.
    Any cures?

slicks. And faster driver reaction turning the steering wheel to keep the car headed straight.

Seriously though, you need to give us more info to work with....

maybe not being autistic and not calling it a "chebbi" and calling it a chevy will help you out a little

Tighter guardrails and rubber baby buggy bumpers. Why would you want it ti go straight ?, its more fun that way. As said before, slicks and learn to control throttle.

  11. DOOR SLAMMERS : The Chassis Book by Dave Morgan, it covers EVERYTHING. Follow his methods and your car will go straight and hook hard. This is providing there are no defects in the fabrication or design of the car and it's chassis. TR

Preload on the side it wants to slide towards. Unless it slides both ways, then it's set up fine, and he just needs to control the throttle better.
