Another Prop for a Great Alliance Vendor!.... House 'O Speed!
Got a super cool new shift Knob for the hotrod with a lot of personal meaning.
My Grandfather was a real character back in his day and after his passing I was given a set of his favorite cufflinks from a long time ago.
I don't wear cufflinks(hell, i don't even have a long sleeve shirt) so I decided to keep his spirit close at all times.
Cameron from House 'O Speed had the family heirloom in-cased in sparkle lucite(or whatever material they make this knobs from!) and since my Grandfather's name was Jack....."Bad Jack" is in now control of the shift pattern.
My Grandfather was a hell raiser in his day, from running Liquor,an Olympic diver,Teaching Johnny Weissmuller to swim(Tarzan had Polio as a youngster) and countless shenanigans thru-out his life.

The cufflink represents my grandfathers personality.

Thank you House 'O Speed..... a true work of art for the Hot rod.

    BITCH'IN!

Jeff...that is the coolest! Helluva cool tribute to your grandpappy! Sounds like he and my wife's grandad were poured from the same mold!

I love the fact that that was a cufflink . . . It's truly one bad ass cufflink. Reminds me of Der Krampus.

Wow, Jeff that is really a neat idea. I need to see if my grandfather had anything I could cast into a cool knob.......he just passed last month.

  20. Were there a pair of those cufflinks? Did you use the other one in another knob of another color? Cool idea. I have something I would like done for my project car as well.

  26. Thats a touching story Jeff and such a neat way to boost the cool factor of the Nor-rod to even greater heights. I also agree that the House 'O Speed is a top notch organization. I got my first Norwell t-shirt from them in fact.

That's really cool, now your Grampa can ride with you!

  29. Jeff, How much does he charge to do one and do you think this old gaming coin would look cool in a knob clear with black background. It's about 2" ind diameter. I want to use it in my 34 5W.

Nice! Now I'm going to go search through my trinkets for something neat so I can get one done.
