Just kiddin. Just got it together. '48 Ford dash '48 Lincoln gauges. Radio face hinges down to hide the new stuff.
It's a spare bedroom. I just started hanging them one at a time and before my wife knew it it was full I hope so I plan to use them. I just put it together on the bed. No the wife is not home.
Hey man, I'm runnin 46 lincoln gauges, great look, love the deco numbers...wish I had a killer dash for them like that...
Man that's real hideous. In fact I'll take it off your hands just so you don't suffer anymore! The gauges that is. The bed, your on your own....
20,000 comedians looking for work in New York City and we have this bunch. The dash looks great and I like the radio face idea.
he said it was the spare bed room, im guessin he spends a bit of time in there when the wife catches him buildin cars in the house
Hi Gary... Totally Rad!...We went to school every day in one of several 48 moredoors that we all ways called the school bus as the owner would collect us all up and we would chip in for gas...BTW they could be had for about $25 to $40 in mint condition in those days and the 48 was one tough car to survive us...Dick
Went to the hardware store and found a chromed hinge. Bolted it to the back of the radio front. Welded some screws to the back of dash. Had to open the radio hole some for the hinge and so the radio front would fold in from the outside.
That is a dandy dash --- looks like a Wurlitzer jukebox! Please, never sell that car to some ashwipe who will rip it out and put in those crappy digital gauges --
