Hot Rods **My Model a Coupe finally hits the streets!! Pics & Video**

The car I’ve been dreaming of day and night for the past 5 years finally moves under its own power! Many goals to finish it have come and gone over the past few years but when I got engaged last October I KNEW that I had to have it finished to drive away from our wedding in. I got it running and driving enough to limp us around the corner and on April 16th my beautiful bride and I drove away in my Hot Rod!

This car has been such a learning process for me... I’ve built a few cars over the years but never anything of this magnitude. It’s been amazing learning about traditional hot rods and doing my best to build this car the way I want it, while keeping the past in mind. No it’s not 100% "Period Perfect" and yes it has a SBC but overall I‘m happy with the way it turned out and can’t wait to build the next one. I’m proud to say that I built 95% of the car in my garage with the help of a few friends. The only time it has left was to get the exhaust done and then the last few weeks it has spent up at my brother’s house in San Jose where he helped to finish the floor and trunk and tidy up some of the loose ends. I still have a laundry list of little things to do but I plan to drive the snot out of it and tie up the odds and ends as I go. First on the list is to put a few leaves back in the rear spring to get the back end up a little and get the tire to fit in the wheel well a little nicer.

Big thanks goes out to my older brother Aaron… I’m blessed to have a brother as a best friend and there is no way this car would have ever been built if it wasn’t for him. Should have some more pictures of the car from the wedding in the next few weeks… I’ll post ‘em when I can.
