New Girl from NC

Hi everyone! My husband pressured me into making an account, but I am excited to join. I will probably be reading more than posting. I'm a hair stylist here in Asheville,NC. I just recently got a 1964 Mercury Comet and am looking forward to having it as my daily driver. Can't wait to learn more about cars and the "lingo" so I can understand my husband a little better when he gets to talking about motors. I got into old cars after I met my now husband, but had always collected vintage housewares and clothing. Anyway, wish me luck with
the Comet since my husbands making me do it all myself.

Welcome to the HAMB. Henrietta the '38 Ford pickup and Ozelle the '55 Ford send friendly horn honks to you and your little Comet. I had a '65 Comet in college days. I see you're in Asheville. Good friend of mine, Guy Sayles, is pastor at First Baptist Church in Asheville. His predecessor there, John Hewett, was one of my seminary classmates and is likewise a long-time friend.
