    I'm planning to do my 53 merc in "Mohawk Maroon" with lacing in a redder shade on top once I save up the scratch for it. I'll post the color code once I find my color chips. Their in one of the piles around here somewhere...

    i remember when this GTO was being redone in an old muscle car classics magazine issue, with finised pic shot in Ventura in front of the little motel a block from the ocean.

    There would be a maroon A bone on its way if I could afford to buy paint. Alas I have to use what I got.:D

    Maroon, deep red and o oxblood were popular colors back in the day.
