Good swap meet today, this is still the best one in the area. Scored a '65 Mercury steering wheel and a really nice set of Western wire wheels. If you're on the fence about going tomorrow, I'd advise you to go. Lots of good vintage tin if that's what you're into, but it's pricey. The closest I got was a '28 Dodge 4-door sedan body that the owner wanted $1800 for (it was nice), but was asking for offers.

I heard it was muddy as normal.

  3. I bought some good junk , and for once, I didn't have to get pulled out with the tractor!

i bought some 35 ford headlights with out a single dent in them, and a lot of original paint still left for $90.00, so there are some good deals out there.

It was muddy this year, but at least was the Lawrence Swap Meet, not the Lawrence Swamp meet.

I drove down from South Dakota for my first time attending and had fun. I'm always hoping I'll find a swap meet just one more time loaded with parts like they were 20 years ago but even so I found some goodys and had a good time.

There was more stuff there this year than I've seen there the last few years. Economy forcing folks to sell treasures? I snagged a world class T5 for cheap, and also a real nice 37 Ford gauge cluster.

    There was mud, too.

I had a great time. My first year to have a space to sell parts.
