    **UPDATED**
Now that I have the correct gap size, I have two new questions.

I read in a thread that the wire from the starter to the coil may need to be larger. Does anyone know if this is true, is so what size.
Also do I keep the resistor to the original coil or remove it?

ps Ive emailed Langdon, but im too eager to wait for his reply...need to work on it now.
    thanks

    original post below:
I bought a mini HEI from Tom Langdon for my 61 Chevy 235. He sent new wires and plugs with it. I just finished with the install, but I'm not sure what to set the spark plug gap at. Does anyone know?

It's late already, and I already emailed Tom. Im sending this out just in case someone knows so I can complete this tonight and hit the road.

    thanks

If I remember correctly I set mine at .050 per Toms recommendation on my 235.

    from cocoa, FL.

everyone has there own supersticions, but depending on coil output between .035" and .050" just set it a .040" and cruise.
